Our projects

“Acceleration and integration of comprehensive care and prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) in the Zanzan-CI region” from June 2010 – March 2014 funded by HAI-CDC/PEPFAR through its center of health CMS LES FLAMBOYANTS.

Results obtained: census, care and support (psychological, nutritional education and shelter) of 500 OVC at the CMS les flamboyants.

 

Collaboration with the Health Districts of Bouna, Nassian, and NGO BERACA in the fight against HIV/AIDS from 2010 to date and member of the Bouna OVC platform

 

TB project from September 2013 to December 2015 with CARITAS/FOND MONDIAL at the CAT of BONDOUKOU

Results obtained: 192 TB screened and monitored in the community

 

LINKS project "Leading The Transition to Local Ownership of High-Impact, Sustainable HIV/AIDS" Programs in Northern Côte d'Ivoire from June 2015 to March 2016 through CMS LES FLAMBOYANT in the health district of Bouna.

 

Results obtained: 192 OVC identified and monitored; 108 HIV-positive women screened during the period; advocacy in favor of 25 local authorities in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

 

Popularization of Law No. 2014-430 of July 14, 2014 through a conference-debate, Broadcast in Bouna and Bondoukou on September 19, 2015 (reforms in the fight against HIV/AIDS).

Results obtained: 50 representatives of health structures reached by this awareness message

 

From April 2016 to October 2020, the NGO LES FLAMBOYANTS piloted a project to fight against Tuberculosis with ALLIANCE-CI (financed by the world fund) at the Bondoukou CAT and in seven (7) surrounding CDTs (Tanda, Kounfao, Bouna) .

 

From October 2016 to April 2018, the NGO LES FLAMBOYANTS piloted an FNLS project entitled "Community mobilization around PMTCT sites in the Bouna health district".


This project made it possible to:

    Strengthen the capacities of 05 health establishments integrating PMTCT services through audio-visual equipment Raise awareness among 10,000 women of childbearing age, 1,500 pregnant women including those sensitized in the community and 500 spouses. Screen 1,927 women of childbearing age, 555 pregnant women and 253 spouses. Organize mass campaigns.

 

From 2016 to September 2019, the organization piloted the LINKS Project “Leading the Transition to Local Ownership of High-Impact, Sustainable HIV/AIDS” Programs in Northern Côte d'Ivoire.

Funded by CDC/PEPFAR via HAI (Health alliance international) in the Bounkani region


From January 2021 to date implementation partner of the NMF3 project for community activities on HIV / AIDS, TB and patients' rights "piloted by alliance côte d'ivoire and financed by the global fund. In the health regions of Bounkani and Gontougo (health districts of nassian, Doropo, Téhini, Bouna, Bondoukou, Tanda, Transua, Sandegué and Kounfao).


Budget: 194,000,000 FCFA


From May 2020 to December 2020 implementing partner: “PROJECT FOR STRATEGIC PURCHASING AND HARMONIZATION OF HEALTH FUNDING AND SKILLS (SPARKS-SANTE–P 167959)” piloted by AG-consulting and financed by the World Bank in the Bounkani region

This project is part of the implementation of the Performance-Based Financing (PBF) approach and in reference to the community verification methodology manual for the implementation of the community survey.

 

Project for the development and empowerment of out-of-school girls in the Bounkani region (village of Feki) this project was financed by Solinfo (French NGO) to the tune of 6,000,000 FCFA, this project consisted in the literacy of young girls and learning to sew

 

From October 2021 to March 2022 ECOTER financing financed by AFD within the framework of C2Ds and piloted by the Bounkani regional council. Les Flamboyants was able to benefit from 5,000,000 FCFA to implement the project called "Strengthening the governance of Bounkani localities to consolidate cohesion and prevent radicalization and violent extremism".

The objective of this project was "The objective of this project is to contribute to the strengthening of social cohesion through the strengthening of dialogue, the joint resolution of conflicts and the increase in regular exchanges between the communities and the defense forces. and safety"

 

Since July 2022, ''les Flamboyant'' has benefited from UNDP funding in order to implement a project "STRENGTHENING THE GOVERNANCE OF BORDER AREAS TO CONSOLIDATE SOCIAL COHESION AND PREVENT CONFLICTS". The objective of this project is to "contribute to the strengthening of cross-border social cohesion through the strengthening of dialogue, joint conflict resolution and the increase in regular exchanges between cross-border communities", the specific objectives of which consist of:


    Put in place mechanisms for preventing inter- and intra-community conflicts to strengthen cross-border social cohesion violent extremism; Carry out community economic activities to enable young people and women to take charge of themselves and strengthen social cohesion, Strengthen community infrastructure for peace, social cohesion, and cross-border cooperation.


The project takes into account regions (Bounkani and Tchologo).


Let us remember because of the prevailing security situation in the north of the Ivory Coast, the NGO Les Flamboyants is investing more in sensitizing communities to the consolidation of a climate of peace and social cohesion, through training sessions on conflict management mechanisms, prevention of radicalization and violent extremism. To this end, it carries the leader of the civil-military cell of the department of Doropo, assuming the presidency since 2021.
